SKATE / SURF PROGRAM- Board Life Project

A women-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building connection, confidence, and community through skateboarding and we will start surfing very soon! Their work creates safe, inclusive spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together, learn, grow, and belong — and we’re honored to support their mission. Boardlife has programs in both Colorado and Florida. Yes, Misty is one of the founders.

This year, we’re teaming up to help expand their annual skate program, making it possible for more kids—especially those who might not otherwise get the chance—to get involved in skateboarding and the community that comes with it.

At Side Stance Society, we believe board sports change lives. They teach resilience, self-expression, courage, and what it means to be part of something bigger. By partnering with Board Life Project, we’re helping open more doors for young riders to discover those experiences.

Together, we’re working to get more kids on boards, into programs, and supported by a community that lifts them up.
Community over corporations. People over profit. Movement over fear.

And this is just the beginning.

SNOW PROGRAM- Bison Blizzards

We’re excited to share that we are partnering with Bison Blizzards, a ski and snowboard club dedicated to opening the doors of snowsports to underrepresented youth. Their program offers guided lessons, group activities, and a supportive environment where students can build confidence, learn teamwork, and develop lifelong social and emotional skills — all through the power of the mountain.

At Side Stance Society, we deeply believe that access to board sports should never be limited by background or circumstance. That’s why we’re committed to dedicating both our time and financial support to help Bison Blizzards grow their impact and reach even more students.

With the help of student-led fundraising and sponsorships, the long-term goal is for each young rider to have the chance to participate — giving them not just access for a season, but independence and opportunity for years to come. Most of these students live less than 40 miles from the Rocky Mountains and have never had the privilege to see them. Every child in Colorado deserves access to the mountains.

Together, we’re working to make snow sports more inclusive, more welcoming, and more accessible.
More kids on snow. More confidence. More community.
And we’re just getting started.

This partnership is more than collaboration.
It’s a commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and making waves that carry everyone
